Client Consent To Use Tax Information
Rules that went into effect January 1, 2009, prohibit our sending client tax returns or data to a lender or other third party based on verbal or email instruction. Rather, a client may authorize such a disclosure or use of tax return data only by signing a consent to use form. In addition to tax preparation services, this firm is in the business of providing year round financial consultation and tax planning services. These services cannot be provided without your consent.

Your Information
Your non-public personal or business information is collected and or compiled from various sources:
- Information received from you on tax organizers, worksheets, client questionnaires, 3rd party reporting documents (such as but not necessarily limited to W-2’s, 1099’s, K-1’s, etc.), receipts, applications, bank statements, check registers, and other financial documentation you provide;
- Information you provide via personal interview, telephone conversations, faxes, emails, and email attachments, etc.;
- Information about your transactions with our firm;
Non - Disclosure
- Your non-public personal or business information is not disclosed to any person or party, except as required by law or to facilitate filing your tax returns or other official agency compliance on your behalf.
- Upon the closing of your account or should our business relationship cease, your non-public personal or business information will not be disclosed to any person, party, or agency other than as required by law.
Security of Information
Access to your information is restricted in a variety of ways:
- Only to those employees who have a need to know in order to provide agreed upon or contracted products or services to you;
- Physical security, electronic security safeguards and strict procedural measures are undertaken consistently, in accordance with required federal standards in place, in order to protect your non-public information.
